IXE – Tempranillo Toscano

From the new Tempranillo fields, the most spontaneous and natural wine. For many years, the unsuspected presence of Tempranillo in San Miniato was coded with the letter “X”, which contained all the unknowns of this story.
The name of the wine derives from the pronunciation in Tuscan dialect of this code X = “IXE”.

VIGNA LE NICCHIE – Tempranillo Pre-phylloxera

This is my most ambitious wine, the most exclusive and unique.

My most ambitious and most exclusive wine in its uniqueness. After the shocking discovery of the historical presence of the famous Spanish grape Tempranillo on the territory of San Miniato, I worked to fully understand its peculiarities and its potential with the aim of producing a unique wine that was its maximum and sincere expression.

CARATELLO
Vin Santo del Chianti DOC

The passion for these very special wines was transmitted to me by my father, who made his Vin Santi from the early ’60s and of which I still retain some bottles. Vin Santo is for me the maximum and noble expression of Tuscan white grapes.
The production technique is a combination of patience, wisdom, passion, and naturalness that ultimately create a unique wine that has no equal in the world.
