Grape: Moscato bianco


Vineyard: Marly-limestone terrain. Southeast, south and southwest facing slopes at more than 400 meters above sea level. Contour ploughing and terracing are used throughout the vineyards and the vines are trained and pruned by hand. The vines are planted densely, with more than 7,000 shoots per hectare, trained in the traditional Guyot method with short trunks.

Production techniques: The ripened grapes are harvested selectively and gradually by hand, placed in small slatted crates and then immediately pressed and fermented with varietal yeasts specifically selected by the vintner. The wine is stabilized and cold-chain bottled in heavy Borgognotte bottles. The label has a traditional design taken from the vineyard archives.

Characteristics: Straw yellow with hints of gold 
Bouquet: Fragrant and floral with notes of sage and honey.

Taste: Delicately sweet, fragrant, intensely aromatic with slight acidity.

  Serving: Serve cold at 8 - 10°C in tulip glasses. Ideal with desserts, fruit, pastries, ice creams and cakes, but also with cold meats.

Alcohol content: 5.5% by vol.
Residual sugars: ~ 130g/l
Overall alcohol content: > 13% by vol.
Total acidity: ~ 6.5 %
pH: 3.45

Forteto Pian dei Sogni
Piemonte
Brachetto Passito doc

Grape: Brachetto


Vineyard: Tendentially loose marl­y-limestone (Miocene-Langhiano). Hilly terrain at more than 400 meters above sea level. Vines trained using Guyot method with a density of more than 7,000 shoots per hectare. Traditional and manual cultivation. The evocative panoramic landscape gives the area its name, Pian dei Sogni or upland valley of dreams.

Production techniques: The late-harvest, dried grapes are left to dry for a short time before pressing. The new wine is racked and fermented in small oak barrels tor twelve months, completing its development. The winter weather facilitates the cold-chain stabilization. The wine is bottled in the spring of the second year after the harvest.

Characteristics: A sweet cherry red wine with garnet hues. Delicately aromatic with notes of wilting roses, strawberry jam, cherries in syrup and spice. Suitable tor aging.


To be enjoyed: At 10 - 14°C, in tall, crystal tulip glasses. A typical red wine for meditation or with dessert. It goes well with hazelnut tarts, walnuts, almonds, chocolate and chestnuts. Traditionally it was said, "Barbara per mange, Brachet per canté", which in Piemontese means Barbera at the table and Brachetto for singing, but it is right tor many other things, including dreaming.

Piasa Rischei
Loazzolo doc

Grape: Moscato bianco


Vineyard: Tendentially loose marl­y-lmestone (Miocene-Langhiano). Terraces with slopes of more than 50% bordered with stone walls and surrounded by plum trees, almond trees and rosemary bushes. Exposure southeast. Altitude more than 450 meters above sea level. Vines trained using the short Guyot method with a density of more than 8,000 shoots per hectare. Average yield <18hl/hectare.

Production techniques: The harvest begins at the end of September and lasts until late November, with the successive selection of the bunches and the botrytized grapes. Part of the grapes are dried on straw mats indoors. Following a slow pressing of the dried grapes, the fermentation is started using varietal yeasts from the previous year and continues for twenty-­four months in small oak barrels. The wine is bottled in the spring of the third year after the harvest.

Characteristics: Deep yellow color, with hints of gold. Fruit forward, rich, ripe, apricot notes.
The Moscato base is evident and is enhanced by spicy and roasted notes. Rich and creamy on the palate, it is not merely sweet but also alcoholic, with a finish of almond, spice and citrus. Sweet and sumptuous, but at the same time with a fresh and fragrant tart vein. A pleasing wine that lingers with an echo of vanilla and white chocolate. It is naturally long lasting and can be put down for a number of years.

To be enjoyed: As a meditation wine, with blue cheeses, goat cheeses, matured cheeses, Foie Gras and dry pastries. Serve at 8-12 °C in long stem crystal glasses.
